Privacy Policy

Who we are

This site is operated by Softlimit ("we", "us", "our"). If you have any questions about this policy or how your personal data is handled, contact us at privacy@softlimit.com.

What we collect

  • Form data — first name, work email, company, and job title when you request the playbook.
  • Marketing preferences — whether you opted in to receive ongoing emails from us.
  • Technical data — IP address, device, browser, referrer, and pages viewed, captured by our server logs and by the Meta (Facebook) Pixel.

Why we use it

  • To deliver the playbook you requested and follow up about it (performance of a contract — GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To send you marketing emails about Softlimit's resources, product updates, and DTC strategy — only if you ticked the opt-in box (consent — GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
  • To measure campaign performance and improve our services (legitimate interests — GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).

Who we share it with

We share limited personal data with trusted service providers who help us run the business:

  • HubSpot — CRM and email delivery.
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook) — the Meta Pixel measures ad performance and may match form submissions to ad campaigns.
  • Hosting & analytics — providers that host this site and aggregate usage data.

We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies and tracking

We use the Meta Pixel to understand how visitors interact with this page and to attribute conversions to advertising campaigns. The pixel sets cookies and shares pseudonymous event data with Meta. You can opt out of personalised ads in your Meta ad preferences and via your browser's cookie controls.

How long we keep your data

We retain lead and contact records for up to 24 months from the last meaningful interaction, or until you ask us to delete them or unsubscribe — whichever comes first. Server logs are kept for a shorter operational window.

Your rights

If you're in the EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with similar laws, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion.
  • Request a portable copy of your data.
  • Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time.
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@softlimit.com. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the footer of any email we send.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
